A CONCERT FOR VIRGINIA TECH.

We are pleased to announce "A Concert For Virginia Tech", a performance with Dave Matthews Band, Phil Vassar and Nas at the university's Lane Stadium. All four of the arists will be donating their performances at this event, a celebration of life and a tribute to the resiliency and strength of the Virginia Tech community. Coming at the beginning of the 2007-2008 academic year, the concert was conceived as a way to help students, faculty and other members of the community move forward in the aftermath of the April events at Virginia Tech.
Free tickets to the concert will be made available to all current Virginia Tech students, faculty and staff. No funds from the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund will be used to cover expenses for this concert. Corporate sponsorships and the sale of commemorative concert items will help to cover the expenses associated with the logistics of the concert.
