IT'S ANOTHER KIND OF GREEN DAY..
I came back from Phish Hampton last weekend really jonesin' for some nice weather (it was 80 degrees and beautiful down in Virginia). Then I realized that in exactly one week I will be out in Los Angeles, prepping for MCC 2. The day before we set sail is going to be a crazy day, but I'm really excited about everything going on.
Thursday morning, 100 lucky Mayercraft volunteers will join us out on the shore in Long Beach for the AKOG Beach Clean Up. We'll be hanging with the Clif Bar, Honest Tea, and Stonyfield crews as well as the gang from Reverb and our friends at Magnetic Creative.
All volunteers will get some tasty snacks and a private acoustic beach performance from David Ryan Harris and Luke Reynolds. On top of your shore-side-sing-a-long, Magnetic Creative will be hooking up every volunteer with a limited AKOG/Reverb/Mayercraft Carrier 2 print.
Each poster will be silk screened on recycled paper with soy ink. We're still working out the final design but even if you're not around for the clean-up, we'll be selling these on the ship to offset carbon imprints. Here's an idea of some designs we're looking at.

Post clean-up we'll all be putting on our fancy new digs and heading over to the ship, for the VH1 Save the Music Foundation Benefit,
One Splendid Evening. If you're joining us that night, you're in for a great time. DJ Logic will be spinning on the lido deck as we wine and dine (ok, let's be real - there will be a lot more wine-ing than dining) through the evening.
The public schedule for the boat is up
here.
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. See you next week!
