Release Day is here!

Between last night's set at the Music Hall, and today being release day, we started calling this week "John Mayer Madness" in the office. Kind of like a Double Dare challenge, if you will. Tonight we'll have you all going through the obstacle course before entering The Beacon (just kidding).

If you're in NYC this week and maybe missed out on a chance to see last night's show in Brooklyn or tonight's set at on the Upper West Side... we're going to offer you one more opportunity to see John perform!

This Thursday night, after JM tapes Letterman, we're taking over the CBS Studio for a special intimate concert with the fans. We'll kick out the regular audience and pack all of you in for a show starting at 8pm. Want to get in with a friend? Here's what you have to do:

1. Save the Heartbreak Warfare Logo above, and make it your twitter icon.

2. Tweet "Battle Studies" is out and I want to see John Mayer on 11/19! http://bit.ly/battlestudiesLP #battlestudies

3. To get in, you and your guest must both be 18+ and have the ability to pick your tickets between 12-5pm on Thursday at the CBS Broadcast Center. Winners must arrive at the Ed Sullivan Theatre by 6:30pm for the set. Anyone under the age of 18 will NOT be allowed entrance.

4. If your twitter account is private, you will not be eligible.

We'll contact winners via direct message from the @mickmgmt twitter account.

Rules: Tickets must be picked up at the CBS Broadcast Center main lobby between 12pm-5pm on day of performance. CBS Broadcast Center address: 524 West 57th St betweenn 10th and 11th Ave. Ticket holders must get tickets there and be at the Ed Sullivan Theatre by 6:30. The Ed Sullivan Theatre is located at 1697 Broadway between 53rd and 54th streets.

Ticketing Concerns

Hey JM fans,

All of us at Mick Management wanted to take the time to respond to some of your recent concerns.

As you know we have been working over the last several months on ways that we can shift smoothly towards a new platform that allows us to accommodate new fans along with those of you who, like us, have been with John from the very beginning.  While we are still confirming the final platform, we can promise you that it has been a top priority for us.  As John's fan base continues to grow we want to make sure that all of his fans have the opportunity to get great seats, while continuing to combat scalpers.

Every fan should benefit and have a chance at great seats.  With that in mind, please understand that we will do as much as possible and will roll out an announcement with full details as soon as we have them.  This is not a quick process but we are doing our best to keep you accurately informed as we go along.

The December shows that have been announced are special John Mayer Trio shows.  There has been some concern that there was not a pre-sale for John's fans for San Diego in particular.  However please understand that this is a very small show that will benefit the military organizations that are near and dear to John's heart (NCIRE and MOM).  What has not been publicized is that in lieu of a fan pre-sale, we thought it would mean so much to the returning soldiers to provide them & their families with tickets to a special event.  One small way that John can express his thanks for all that these men and women have done for us.  This does not mean that John's future tour dates will all be based upon this ticketing platform.

Please understand that everything management does is carefully calculated, and always with John's fans in mind.  We may not always outline everything that we do, but this is not for lack of caring or disregard.  FANS ARE WHAT KEEP THE COMMUNITY OF MUSIC ALIVE, AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET ABOUT YOU.

Stay tuned for more news on Battle Studies and John's plans for touring next year.
