my apologies to kyle10/29 by SC

I'm sorry that the previous set of pictures ("MY BEST IDEA EVER") weren't sparkly enough for you. I hope that the sparkle factor in the photo below is up to your sparkle standards.

takashi! a different takashi!10/28 by SC

Attended the opening of the Murakami exhibit at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA last night - it's a must-see. Some of the installations are insane, and there's a Louis Vuitton store IN the exhibit showcasing and selling the collabos Murakami has done over the past 5 years. And just when I thought the 30-foot tall LV camo on canvas had made my night, I notice a hustle-an-a-bustle to my left, and there stands Murakami himself, talking with Nigo and Pharrell. Running up on a pack of your personal heroes is no joke.

Pharrell has pictures of the exhibit at his blog.

I snapped a few as well...

Q: Why are people from Portland accused of being overly meticulous?

A: Because they're so OREGONIZED!

You're welcome,
Scotty

Socia Small Ball + Jose Reyes = 300 Million Free Tacos.

Literally amazing:
"If a base is stolen during regulation or extra innings play by any player for either team, Taco Bell will offer every person in the U.S. the opportunity to obtain one (1) free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco

my best idea ever10/24 by SC

Sometime in 2005 I came up with an idea for the perfect tattoo. The design itself didn't matter, but the tattoo would be made of special ink: inside the black ink for the tattoo would be DIAMONDS.

Yes, diamonds. Grind them up, put them in the ink, and get to tattooin'. What you end up with is a shimmery, beautiful piece of art. Bling IN the skin, people called it.

Naysayers will say that shards of stone embedded into the skin may have negative repercussions, but to them I say: "whatever point you may have had is lost in your redundancy."

I'm pretty close to finishing up the paperwork on the patent for this, so don't go trying to steal it and claim it as your own.

In the meantime, I was delighted to find UNDFTD using this technology on their newest hoodie...in my opinion their hottest little piece to date (THEIR best idea ever...or this week, at least). I hope you can see the shimmery goodness:
