fun with watercolors03/22 by SC

Been working on getting this shirt ready the kids up in Canada and the folks down in Oz. The final version is a secret (not really), hope you like (really).

Fun stuff coming at you this summer, I've never been so excited...

what a job this is03/22 by SC

Devin the Dude's "Waitin' to Inhale" dropped on Tuesday, and I can't stop hitting repeat on "What A Job" - featuring Snoop and Andre3000, it's tough to decide who of the three has the hottest verse. Andre isn't back to his 1996 form, but

"...so if I come to your job
take your corn on the cob
take a couple kernels off
then that would be alright with you?"

regarding illegal downloading gives me some hope that "10 The Hard Way" isn't an urban legend.

Anyway, preview Devin the Dude at his myspace page or pick the album up here or at tha sto.

With the Madness starting today, thought I would give a little glimpse of the Elite 8 we'll see a little later this month...as well as a spoiler for the score of the NCAA Men's Final.

This looks like a late entry, but it's really just today's reminder that it's that time of the week to head to Hotel Cafe and see our man DRH lay it down for ya. Hardest working man in LA - off the road, straight into the residency, then back out for the international run. I mean, come on....like Trick, he must love the kids.

And last week's show shone - David threw in some rarely-played tunes like Kalifornia, SHA, and Genie. Can We Get Down had a little "bedspring" action at the end for the people in the back of the room. Pretty Girl was a crowd favorite as usual, and the set closed with a new acoustic tune, Father.

It all goes down again tonight - see you there at 8:45PM (gotta get a good seat, knowhamsayin?). I don't got biscuits, I got a loaf of bread!

And I promise I do other stuff than just see acts a few times a month at this one venue. Once, maybe sometime soon, some of that other stuff will be worthy of a post. Until then, see some music!
