Q: Have you ever written a song that you knew would be a huge hit, but decided to not record it because you didn't want to have to sing it over and over again??-- asked by heatherlygrant
A:Very good question. I remember a friend of mine telling me once, "never block a blessing." That's how I see having a hit. The worst case scenario is that you have to sing your hit song for lots of people who want to hear it all the time. I can't imagine a scenario where I would ever complain about that. I don't think I can even predict what a hit would be these days anyway. May the best song win, I say.
