Nice little 9er in about an hour five around Central Park this afternoon.
It was brisk (high 40s), but something about running that loop brings the
heat. It almost feels like a race - as if all the runners and bikers have
an unspoken agreement to try to dominate each other. At least, that's what
I took away from the middle school kids and grandmothers jogging the loop.

I managed to escape Wednesday without any humbling taxi experiences, but the
week is only half over...or half beginning, depending on how you look at it.
