It looks like we have a tie... I couldn't decide which one of the following two cakes I liked better, so I've decided to give a JM Stratocaster each to...



JILL... who made a cake with a beautiful composition, delicious looking ingredients, and a nostalgic design. This one inspired the most holiday joy in me.



DANIELLE... the leg-lamp cake is clever, witty, well done, and gave a great laugh. This one was the talk of the town at the Mayer house.

And to everyone who submitted a cake, both into an oven and to my blog, THANK YOU. I was blown away at the time you took to make such brilliant looking creations. Because of you I had the best holiday season since I was a little boy. I hope you all felt a little merrier for it, too.
