WHITE AND GOLD AND....PURPLE???

So, it looks like my distaste for the Lakers finally has to end. I used to feel like the Lakers were the Yankees of basketball, so I felt it my job to root against them. And just when I thought they couldn't get any dumber, they go out and do something like this...and TOTALLY redeem themselves!
"With the 19th pick, the Los Angeles Lakers select Javaris Crittenton, guard, from Georgia Tech."


Javaris from Atlanta, Kwame from Brunswick...the team is starting to tighten up!
Hopefully the Zen Master puts Javaris at the point, leading to 30 assists per game to Kobe, leading to some kid in a Calvin Johnson jersey going nuts in the nosebleeds at Staples Center all winter long.
I also sense a Bulls-esque resurgence of the Hawks with their young squad - new uniforms, a new logo that looks like the Louisville Cardinals, and the additions of Al Horford and Acie Law IV. I almost wet my pants thinking about the KG-to-the-Suns-and-Amare-to-the-Hawks trade, but this is a solid Plan B.
