And say what you will about Frey, that first book still stands as one of my favorites. Try not to let your impression of the man stand in front of a brilliant piece of work.

I mean, seriously -- Dr. Seuss said he was a DOCTOR even though he barely got his Bachelor's Degree! I don't see people boycotting Horton Hears A Who or making bonfires out of The Butter Battle Book and Hop on Pop. Oprah and Larry King aren't trying to stonewall The Sneetches or Sam I Am on national TV. Think about it - some dude telling you he was at a wild party last night, bro, it was insano vs. some dude telling you he has a degree signifying the highest level of expertise in his field? Trust me, I'm a doctor?! No thank you sir, I'd rather hang with the guy with the awesome root canal story.
