It's pretty interesting....this living that we do...
...we go through things, meet people as we shift from place to place, earn as we learn...
you don't even think about it...
then, it just takes lunch with an old friend, to make you aware of who you are, why your here
and the reason why you do what you...very simple...
clarity hit, drinking an ice cream soda through a straw, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon...
driving home, one thing that stuck to me was the fact that we
are constantly on "learn" mode...whether it's reading a book, investigating another part of the city
or just hitting art galleries, your mind wants to see and feel...
growing up in the Betances projects in the S. Bronx, your sort of doomed to failure, unless you unleash the hunger for learning...it doesn't have to be about Lincoln, Physics or anything else
that is book bound, but more of a need to see, touch and feel, without reprimand...
...I thank God for this hunger...
and I'm thankful for an old friend's call, to meet for ice cream...
...OK, enough of this...we were talking art, and I decided to let ya'll in on some
of the little "things" that cover my walls here at home...
